Neat growing, compact, hardy and keeps to a height of 1 metre. New growth is bright red, older leaves change from lime and golden to deep green; and the plants burst to life late spring with fiery-red nectar rich flowers. An ideal metrosideros for exposed sites, low hedges, borders and containers.

Metrosideros ‘Little Ewan’ PBR – dwarf New Zealand Christmas bush
DESCRIPTION:Easy care compact shrub suited to coastal planting, rockeries and containers. Red tufty nectar-rich flowers; red new leaf growth.
USES: Salt and wind tolerant for sea side planting, bird attracting and makes a great low hedge or on its own as a specimen plant.
PLANTING: Plant in full sun or a partly shaded location, full sun will yield the best flowering season.
CARE: Little Ewan requires little attention after establishing in the garden. Remove any untidy stems after flowering and fertilise using a slow release fertiliser yearly.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: Up to 1m H x 1m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
