Easy to grow low grass perfect for almost any soil type and climate, establishes quickly to create dense flowering borders. With richly coloured foliage and brilliant tall purple flower spikes, Amethystâ„¢ makes a beautiful cottage garden plant in full flower.
Liriope muscari ‘Amethyst’â„¢ ‘LITB’ PBR
DESCRIPTION: Ozbreed variety. Hardy grass suited to almost every climate. Vibrant purple flower spikes feature above the rich strappy foliage.
USE IN: Plant as a showy border in formal garden settings or dot through rockeries for a cottage feel. Also a great native to use for erosion control.
LOCATION: Plant in a full sun to shaded location in free draining soil. For best results prepare soil by digging through well composted manure before planting.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly for the first 12 weeks until the plant establishes. Trim to ground level yearly for fresh new regrowth and extended flowering season. Tolerates drought, frost and extended wet periods once established.
