Unique, strange, fun! This popular plant has a character all of its own, with fine ‘hairy’ strands of evergreen cascading foliage, soft to touch. Use as a groundcover or feature plant in rockeries and hanging baskets, where it will spread to 1m across but only 10cm high.

Low maintenance, weed suppressing. Drought tolerant, but give it water and watch it grow green and lush.

Casuarina glauca ‘Cousin It’

APPEARANCE: Vibrant fine long trailing green foliage, very touch friendly. Forms a cascading mound.
USE IN: Feature plant in rockeries and raised garden beds as the foliage cascades beautifully. Suited to container planting.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden. Tolerates dry periods once established, but grows lusher with regular water.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune tips while young to encourage dense growth and fertilise with a slow release fertiliser in spring.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 10-15 cm H x Up to 1 m W.

YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm including the pot height of 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
